In our cross stitch patterns we draw inspiration from the world of myth and folktales: sometimes from well-known ones, and sometimes from obscure and weird stories from different corners of the world – for example. the story of the frog that carries the world on its back. The patterns, especially the bigger ones, often include floral motifs and intricate ornaments.
Our shop owner and designer is a passionate cross-stitch enthusiast named Maria. She is dedicated to bringing joy and creativity to stitchers around the world.
Maria’s inspiration comes from the world of mythology and fairytales, and she loves to reimagine classic tales in her cross-stitch designs. Her patterns are full of fine details that are not only magical, but also very well researched. She also loves to incorporate elements of nature, such as flowers, trees, and animals, to create a whimsical dreamy atmosphere. Some of Quaternion Creations’ patterns come with a fairytale or myth, giving you an even deeper explanation of the story as you stitch.

Fun fact: Quaternion Creations is named after a mathematical concept of a Quaternion, which is an extension of a complex number (or a quotient of two vectors). It was one of the things that I found really aesthetic when getting my math education, so the brand name is a blend of my nerdiness and my sense of beauty 🌱🌱🌱
