Julian of Norwich cross stitch pattern // All Shall Be Well stitching pattern, Saint Juliana and cat cross stitch PDF

Description

“All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well” – these words are the best known part of a book by the amazing St Julian of Norwich, a Middle Age recluse and mystic, and the author of the earliest surviving English language works written by a woman.

At the age of 30 she closed herself in a cell, where she lived alone ever after, with a cat as her only companion. And though she is not the patron Saint of cats, she is often regarded as such.

This cross stitch chart is my take on the image of St Julian, made in warm autumnal colors. It also comes in monochromatic version that can be stitched in variegated thread.
