Pretty Butt in ancient Egyptian

“Pretty Butt” in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs – a cross stitch pattern.

Description

The hieroglyphs on the design read, “How beautiful are thy buttocks”, or in modern language, “You have a pretty butt”.

Taken straight from an ancient Egyptian manuscript with the story of Horus and Seth (that one is very worthwhile checking out on it’s own), via the “Same-Sex Desire in Pharaonic Egypt” essay by Alex Clayden, this text might be one of the first written pick up lines in human history.
